Wine and condition explore - The Power of Procyanidins - The Real French Paradox

Thursday, April 21, 2011

Imagine that in time to come procyanidin pills are recommended just as aspirin is today. Such are the salutary properties of procyanidin, this is a possibility. Procyanidins have been identified as high performance, low toxicity and extremely bio-available. Some red wines have been identified as containing extremely high concentrations of this marvelous heart salutary compound.

A steady stream of animal and in vitro studies supplemented by epidemiological evidence and human studies enumerate numerous condition benefits. Chief among the benefits is antioxidant safety against heart disease and some cancers.

Consider these Imperatives

Procyanidins have been identified as high performance, low toxicity and extremely bio-available. Procyanidins, available in some red wines, 70% cocoa solids dark chocolate and other foods, is a salutary blend in the top doses and part of a natural diet - Not an unnaturally high-dose supplement (as with other compounds) that is not proven to be safe over the long term and perhaps not even absorbed fully as has been observed with some supplements. Research identifies that after two weeks of a daily glass of procyanidin rich red wine certain preserve for cardiovascular condition was observed, including reduced blood pressure. This is good news for safety against heart disease and strokes. The condition statistics are significant and leading -- roughly half of us die of Heart Disease -- World condition Organization, and 50% of Strokes are caused by high blood pressure. "Nowhere in the world where populations are given drug treatments to administrate cardiovascular health, have they achieved the low levels of heart disease linked deaths, as occurs in Gers (France) where they drink these wines" Professor Giovanni de Gaetano, M.D., Ph.D, In south west France where they have make and consume wines high in procyanidins, census data shows there is twice the estimate of 90 year old males as the national average. In this region the wines are up to 10 times more procyanidin rich than the contemporary style, sweet, soft, quaffing red wines so ordinarily made today. In New Zealand, consumers who begin a strategy of a daily glass of the wines of south west France are experiencing blood pressure improvements consistent with the research. This occurs without turn to lifestyle, diet, rehearsal or medication. Procyanidins supply the same benefits, naturally, as would perhaps be achieved with the "polypill". The polypill is a blend of already in use drugs that is intended to preclude heart attacks and strokes. Governments and drug companies internationally are trying to build such a drug, to be taken daily, that is aimed to protect older populations from heart disease. In procyanidins it already exists in the natural form. Perhaps there is point for our condition that with today's prevalence of processed and refined foods, our consumption of procyanidins is much lower than the estimate we likely evolved with!

This narrative is an illumination of the significant international explore that has been conducted into the condition benefits of procyanidins.

What is Procyanidin

Procyanidins are a blend of antioxidant molecules, variously called --

procyanidins proanthocyanidins, oligomeric procyanthocyanidins (Opc) proanthocyanidolic oligomers (Pco) leukocyanidins

Procyanidin, a polyphenol blend with strong bioactivity and pharmacologic activity, resides widely in grape seeds, hawthorn, pine bark and other foods and plants. A estimate of inherent mechanisms of procyanidin have emerged. These include, serving as an leading in vivo antioxidant, decreasing blood pressure, reducing risk of cancer, inhibiting bacteria, and so on. In up-to-date years, the beneficial condition and longevity effects of procyanidin on the human body has been extensively researched internationally.

Research has reported that procyanidin has complicated anticancer effects, notably for being toxic to cancer cells, on cancers such as cutaneous carcinoma, oral carcinoma, breast carcinoma, bronchogenic carcinoma, liver carcinoma, prostate carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, and more, along with growth promoting effects on normal cells.

Commonly referred to as Opc in scientific circles, procyanidin is specialist at treating vascular diseases because it de facto increases the structural drive of weakened blood vessels, maintaining their permeability and elasticity. This occurs because Opcs help neutralize the basic chemical cause (oxidation of living cells by free radicals) that promotes many diseases.

Opc is one of the most potent antioxidants known -- 50 times more marvelous than vitamin E and 20 times more so than vitamin C, according to some tests.

Grape seeds and pine bark are two of the richest known sources of Opcs. Procyanidins have also been identified as abundant in walnuts husks, cranberries, certain apple varieties, pomegranates, horse chestnuts, hazelnut leaves, hawthorn, rhubarb and barley (also beer made from barley). However tests have shown that significant distinction in procyanidin article can exist within these foods.

Toxicity

In 2002 a safety estimate of Opc rich grape seed extract was undertaken to rule the toxicology of proanthocyanidins, especially in oral supervision when used in various foods. The grape seed extract (Gse) was examined for acute and sub lasting oral toxicity and for mutagenic potential. The tests were undertaken using mice and rats. No evidence of acute oral toxicity and no evidence of mutagenicity was found. The results of the studies indicate a lack of toxicity and preserve the use of proanthocyanidin-rich extract from grape seeds for various foods.

Cardiovascular Disease

Roger Corder, Professor of Experimental Therapeutics at the William Harvey explore build in London, identified that procyanidin in some red wine is responsible for the reduction in the risk of coronary heart disease and the lowering of thorough mortality in regular, moderate consumers of red wine.

On 30 November 2006 a explore narrative was published in Nature magazine on Procyanidins and the significant health-giving benefits of some red wines. Nature is one of the world's supreme science journals.

Epidemiological studies revealed that two populations in Europe have exceptional longevity. Citizen in the Nuoro province of Sardinia and those in the branch of Gers in south west France, especially men, have a significantly greater longevity than the national average. These populations do Not consume the "Mediterranean Diet". Corder tested wines and identified that in this region the wines are up to 10 times more procyanidin rich than the modern, sweet, soft, quaffing style red wines so ordinarily made today. This is the very top of the salutary red wine "pyramid".

Corder and his team looked at these populations and their lifestyles and carefully that there was something about the wines in these regions and so began a study of the components and compounds in the wines. They designed their study so they wouldn't know which blend worked best until the end of the trial. The researchers cultured endothelial cells and then added small amounts of red wine. The team isolated and measured the biological activity of each polyphenol in red wine. In hundreds of experiments, using wines from all over the world, procyanidin proved to be the best at regulating yield of endothelin-1 to accomplish the most favourable levels. Procyanidins suppressed overproduction by 50 percent.

Other compounds, such as resveratrol (a non-flavanoid polyphenol) and quercetin, were found to have an irrelevant effect.

The researchers discovered that red wines from those two regions are particularly high in procyanidins. This is because a large proportion of the grapes used to produce the local wines in these regions are the flavanoid-rich Tannat. Furthermore the original wine-making techniques in the south west of France, where the grape skins and seeds remain in experience with the juice for an extended duration while fermentation and maceration, significantly increased the attentiveness of procyanidins in the red wines.

The groundbreaking explore by Professor Roger Corder and colleagues established that:

1. Procyanidins lower blood pressure by suppressing endothelin-1,

a peptide that has an undesirable vasoconstriction effects. They also growth nitric oxide in the blood causing vasodilation and increased blood flow

2. Procyanidins decrease platelet aggregation,

thus preventing clot formation and blockage of arteries

3. Procyanidins preclude oxidation of Ldl-cholesterol.

High blood cholesterol levels are a major risk factor for heart disease because Ldl-cholesterol can collect in the artery wall where after oxidation it causes inflammation and the formation of plaque. When Ldl-cholesterol is protected from oxidation it is less likely to cause atherosclerosis

4. Very few wines have exceptionally high concentrations of procyanidins.

Corder tested many wines and identified only a few regions of the world that consistently have the top concentrations of procyanidins

Powerful Antioxidants

Opcs have a deservedly high credit as antioxidants that quench free radicals and potentiate other antioxidants. In one in vitro study Opcs prolonged the life span of vitamin C by 400 percent. Someone else in vitro study showed that exposing blood vessel linings to pine bark Opcs boosted their vitamin E article by 15 percent. Grape seed has also shown recycling and potentiating effects. The test tube-based activity of vitamin E, in a law mimicking cell membranes, has shown enhancement by grape seed Opcs.

A mouse study, at the Creighton University School of Pharmacy in Omaha, Neb., found that a patented grape seed extract protected tissue from oxidation good than the antioxidant vitamins C and E or beta-carotene.

Grape seed Opcs were observed to be a stronger antioxidant than vitamins C and E, even when the two vitamins were combined, in an in vitro experiment testing the response of human mouth cells to the free radical damage caused by smokeless tobacco.

Preventing Atherosclerosis

The role of oxidation in the amelioration of hardened arteries (atherogenesis) is increasingly understood. Oxidized Ldl (low-density lipoproteins) cholesterol provokes numerous adverse responses including inflammation, smooth muscle cell proliferation and clotting mechanisms to the cells that line blood vessel walls. All this leads to atherosclerosis.

A grape seed extract with 50 percent Opcs and 50 percent phenolic acids prevented such oxidation of pig Ldl in vitro. Opcs may also preclude atherosclerosis in other ways. For example, two in vitro studies found that a patented pine bark extract modulated the publish of nitric oxide, which affected the dilation diameter of blood vessels.

Similarly this is one of Corder's original seeing -- that high blood cholesterol levels are a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke because Ldl-cholesterol can collect in the artery wall where after oxidation it causes inflammation and the formation of plaque. When Ldl-cholesterol is protected from oxidation it is less likely to cause atherosclerosis.

Researchers compared the effects of patented pine bark extract Opcs with aspirin on smoking-induced platelet aggregation in three groups of smokers. They found that platelet aggregation was inhibited by both 500 mg aspirin and 100-125 mg pine bark extract. Because of the increased bleeding time caused by aspirin, the authors halt that pine bark offers an "advantageous risk-benefit ratio."

Increasingly, studies are raising questions of safety with long term use of aspirin by the "worried well" to preclude heart attach. Studies have found sustained use roughly doubles the risk of admittance to hospital due to internal bleeding.

Opcs appear to inhibit several factors contributing to atherosclerosis, but do they de facto preclude the condition? Yes, is the closing according to up-to-date animal experiments. Researchers at a soy sauce manufacturing plant in Noda City, Japan, fed rabbits a diet that caused high blood cholesterol and severe atherosclerosis in the control animals. Their blood levels of peroxides (a measure of oxidation) increased by 10 times. Someone else group of rabbits ate the same diet but supplemented with grape seed Opc extract amounting to either 0.1 or 1 percent of their diet. The supplemented rabbits also industrialized high cholesterol levels; however, they had no detectable peroxides in their blood. Even more impressive, their blood vessels had no atherosclerosis whatsoever. These findings have been confirmed by other explore on grape seed and pine bark Opcs. This emphasizes that the issue is the degree of oxidation of the cholesterol and not high cholesterol itself per se.

Although promising data on Opcs and atherosclerosis prevention primarily come from test tube and animal studies, epidemiological explore may lend credence to the value of Opcs in human health. In fact, Opcs may help expound the "French Paradox," or why low coronary heart disease rates exist in French provinces known for high-fat foods and red wine consumption. These populations do Not have a 'Mediterranean diet'.

The French Paradox was first proposed by Dr Serge Renaud in 1991. Dr Renaud's attendance at the Wine & condition Symposium (headlined by Professor Corder) in Pau, France, in 2007 was confirmation he supports Corder's explore that identified procyanidins as the explanation of The French Paradox. Corder concludes from his explore and epidemiological studies that Opcs are the cause of the exceptional longevity in some populations in south-west France and Sardinia. Corder proposes this is the Real French Paradox.

Red wine could be carefully an alcohol tincture of several potent flavonoids, including Opcs from grape seeds. At the University of Padova, Italy, they fed volunteers a high-fat meal with and without red wine. Post-meal plasma peroxide levels were much lower in those who drank wine.

Opcs also appear to preclude damage caused by atherosclerosis by preventing ischemic reperfusion injury. With atherosclerosis, a clot can restrict blood flow to the heart. If this clot is broken up, blood comes pouring back into the tissue. That process, paradoxically, results in an incredible estimate of free radical damage. At the University of Connecticut School of treatment in Farmington, they subjected animal hearts to blood-flow constriction and release. Compared with control animals, the animals supplemented with a patented grape seed extract had 38 percent less heart damage and 50 percent less creatine kinase release, a marker of tissue damage.

Breast Cancer

Studies have shown that the yield of estrogens in breast cancer tissue plays a major role in tumor progression. In vitro studies have shown that procyanidin B dimers were able to sacrifice androgen-dependent tumor growth, indicating that these chemicals sacrifice the yield of estrogens from the androgen substrates.

In a study researchers demonstrated that procyanidin B dimers in red wine could be used as chemopreventive agents against breast cancer by inhibiting the conversion of androgens to estrogens in breast tissues. The researchers estimated that a single four-ounce glass of red wine daily could supply enough procyanidin B dimer to inhibit aromatase activity in an mean post-menopausal woman.

Prostate Cancer Protection

A study ended that procyanidin can induce apoptosis (self-destruction of cancer cells) and necrosis (death of cells as a result of an face agent) of prostate cancer Pc-3 cells in a mitochondrion-dependent manner. The significant changes observed occurred to varying degrees according to dose and time dependant manners within a few hours of treatment beginning.

Prostate carcinoma (Pca) is one of the most prevalent cancers in men. The rate of Pca-related death increases every year. Until now, there has been no efficient therapy that has an certain result on extending the life span of Pca sufferers. Other original therapies, such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and surgery, cannot preclude Pca from developing into metastatic clones and becoming androgen-refractory. Therefore, developing new therapeutic strategies targeting apoptosis induction would be of real value in controlling the proliferation as well as the invasiveness of industrialized Pca.

The study aimed to rule either procyanidin-induced apoptosis and necrosis of Pc-3 cells is linked to Mitochondrial membrane potential. The mitochondrion is a structure in the cytoplasm (outside the nucleus) of all cells except bacteria in which food molecules (sugars, fatty acids, and amino acids) are broken down in the proximity of oxygen and converted into energy. So as the cell "powerhouse" it is vital to human health. It is also an leading structure within the cells that regulates cell death. The study showed that Mitochondrial membrane inherent was significantly reduced in Pc-3 cells by treatment with procyanidin. Thus toxicity of procyanidin to these cancer cells was demonstrated.

Other Cancer Protection

Other in vitro studies also propose Opcs supply cancer protection. Opcs in Vaccinium-family berries, including blueberry, lingonberry and cranberry, block tumor growth by preventing protein synthesis in tumor cells, thereby preventing them from multiplying. Also in the laboratory, barley bran Opcs transformed human myeloid leukemia cells into cells that were no longer cancerous. Someone else in vitro study found that a patented grape seed extract killed cancer cells; inhibited growth of human breast, lung, stomach and myelogenous leukemia cells by up to 73 percent; and enhanced normal cell growth.

Betel nut, a stimulant chewed by millions of Asians, also contains Opcs. In a small study into the inhibitory result of betel nut extracts on endogenous nitrosation in humans, the researchers noted that Opcs may play a major role in natural cancer prevention.

Other condition Benefits

Protection again viruses may also occur with Opcs. In vitro studies with Opcs from hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha) killed the herpes (Hsv-1) and Hiv viruses.

Venous deficiency is a tasteless condition in which the veins and muscles, primarily in the legs, are not able to properly return blood to the heart. Walking becomes painful and difficult. Italian explore has shown that grape seed extract can help. Twenty-four patients with lasting venous deficiency were treated with 100 mg grape seed extract daily. The improvements were graphic in 10 days: 70 percent of the patients had less edema and 50 percent had less pain. Bilberry and other bioflavonoids have been used for vein problems for many years in Europe. They may have a similar mechanism of action, or their active constituents may include Opcs.

The body is also protected from toxins by Opcs. Acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, is a potent liver toxin, annually causing 75,000 cases of poisoning requiring hospitalization in the United States. Animal experiments showed that a week of pretreatment with 100 mg/kg of a patented grape seed extract prevented liver damage from acetaminophen. Organ damage was assessed by learning liver cells for damage and also by monitoring the animal's health.

Procyanidins and Beauty

More than just disease prevention, Opcs may make us more immature looking. Oxidation damage causes most graphic signs of aging in our skin. By preventing this damage, skin will stay younger looking. One way to accomplish this is to sacrifice the damaging effects of ultraviolet (Uv) light. Sunscreen products have incorporated a collection of antioxidants with the intent that they will preclude sun injury to the skin. In one study, grape seed Opcs exerted a solo antioxidant result at a level of potency on a par with vitamin E-protecting separate polyunsaturated fatty acids from Uv light-induced lipid peroxidation. In this same study, the grape Opcs synergistically interacted with vitamin E, recycling the inactivated form of the vitamin into the active form and thus acting as a virtual vitamin E extender.

Part of the aging process is the degradation of skin by the enzyme elastase, which is released with the inflammatory response. Opcs specifically block elastase, thus maintaining the integrity of elastin.

Opcs may even help us grow a thick head of hair, if the results of animal experiments apply to humans. Japanese researchers shaved mice and found that 40 percent of their hair grew back naturally. When a 1 percent explication of any of three proanthocyanidins was applied to the skin, however, in the middle of 70 and 80 percent of the hair grew back. Test tube studies confirm that Opcs de facto stimulate the hair keratinocytes to produce three times more hair than the controls.

The condition benefits of Opcs have prompted some researchers to propose there should be an lawful recommended optimal intake. Doses used in many animal experiments are 100 mg/kg of body weight, which is equivalent to in the middle of 50 and 200 mg for the mean adult, according to Bagchi. With the prevalence of refined foods today, our intake is much lower than the estimate we likely evolved with, but there has been dinky effort to quantify current Opc intake. However according to Corder, one glass per day of procyanidin rich red wine provides cardiovascular benefits. This has been the experience of New Zealand consumers of the wines from south west France. Those wines, which have been tested for the procyanidin content, have up to 330 mg per 125ml serving.

While there is more explore to be undertaken the evidence mounts for the salutary benefits of procyanidin. The good news is that procyanidins are abundantly available in various food types without waiting for the processes of market certification to be completed. To emphasize - procyanidins are available in beneficial doses naturally. Unnaturally high and unproven to be safe doses are not required with procyanidin.

Genital Warts Can Be Transmitted by Hands Also

Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Genital Warts are the most base sexually transmitted infection. It is caused by a virus called the Human Papilloma Virus also called Hpv. The virus is extremely contagious and can be transmitted by sexual contact. Due to its nature, the virus can also be transmitted by unclean hands. This makes you very vulnerable to the infection if you have sexual contact with people in the high risk category.

You have a higher risk of contracting genital warts , if you have sexual relations with a person's whose sexual history you don't know. The risk is also higher if you do not know either the someone has had a sexually transmitted disease or if your partner is also unaware of the same. Another risk factor is having complicated sexual partners. Becoming sexually active at a younger age also increases the risk of contracting genital warts significantly.

Research On Hiv

Genital warts may not even have symptoms. After sexual contact with an infected person, the health takes around 3 months to start showing symptoms. The infection may remain dormant for a long time, flaring up only during conditions like pregnancy. You must get yourself tested if you have any of the risk factors mentioned above or if your sexual partner has been diagnosed with the infection.

Symptoms of genital warts ordinarily include warts in the genital area. These may be fleshy masses or grey colored bumps. If transmission occurs by hands the warts may be present in the areas surrounding the genitals as well. They may also be present on the mouth and in the throat. The warts are ordinarily seen on the tip and shaft of the penis in males. They might extend to the scrotum and the anus also. In females, the warts are seen on the external genitalia, in the vagina and the area between the vulva and anus.

The warts are ordinarily accompanied by itching and irritation of the moist genital skin. They may also bleed during sexual intercourse due to erosion of the wart tissue. If you are pregnant , you must get checked for genital warts as this may have an adverse ensue on your baby. The warts can be treated but not completely cured. This is because the virus which causes the warts infects the upper layers of the genital skin and it is hard to eliminate the virus from there.

The medicine for genital warts must be done under the guidance of a grand healing practitioner only. Do not attempt to use over the counter medication which can lead to more irritation of the sensitive genital areas. You can use locally active creams for this purpose. The creams have to be applied to the warts and will make the warts slough off leaving healing skin in its place. The use of such creams needs some precautions and you must consult your health care supplier for the medicine that is best for you.

In case you are pregnant, or have large, stubborn warts which do not retort to treatment, you might be advised to go in for surgery. There are many surgical options for genital warts. These include cryotherapy, surgical excision and laser surgery.

Genital Warts (Hpv) rehabilitation

Monday, April 18, 2011

Gentile warts looks as soft, moist, or flesh colored and appear in the genital area within weeks or months after being infected. They often appear in clusters that look as if cauliflower-like bumps, and are whether raised or flat. Sometimes, small or large. Ordinarily show up in women on the vulva and cervix, or inside and surrounding the vagina or anus. In men, genitle warts appears on the scrotum or penis. Often gentile warts can be found on the thigh or groin.

Not every person who's been exposed to the virus will build genital warts. Just because you can't see warts, doesn't mean they are not there. Hpv can have a long incubation period. His means that months can pass between the time of infections until it shows up. Sometimes, the warts can take years to develop. In women, the warts may be where you can't see them inside the body, on the face of the cervix.

Research On Hiv

genital warts rehabilitation rehabilitation options are various. The virus is treated by number of distinct types of treatments (podophyllin resin, imiquimod, trichloroacetic acid, and podophyllotoxin. Surgical or destructive therapies include carbon dioxide laser, surgical excision, loop excision, cryotherapy, and electrodessication. Interferon when injected locally or administered systemically).

No rehabilitation is good than the other, or effective. But there is a variation of costs. It seems that the first line of treatments is cryotherapy. But surgical operation and electrodesiccation are more effective.

Hpv can cause an abnormal cells to grow on the cervix. Sometimes, these cells can come to be cancerous if left untreated especially with male genital warts.

One way to take off the warts is to frost them - cryotherapy. The warts can also be taken off with a laser. There is a rehabilitation called the loop electrosurgical excision course that can be used to take off the warts. This is preformed by a slight execution that is passing underneath the wart and the wart is cut out of the skin.

In general, the warts can be removed, but the viral infection can't be cured. The virus will go on living inside your skin. This is the speculate warts sometime return after they have been removed. Therefor, may be a need to have them removed more than once.

As mention, extra medications can be used to take off the warts. These medicines dissolve warts in the genital area. They may have to be applied to the area a few times over a period of consolidate of weeks before the rehabilitation is complete.

Genital warts can grow if you do not get a genital warts treatment. If you are sexually active, there is a risk of infecting your partner. That's why using condoms may forestall you from catching Hpv from person else. Nevertheless, condoms don't all the time cover all of the affected skin area. The virus is passed straight through skin to skin contact. Remember not every person who's been exposed to the virus will build genital warts, so here's someone else good speculate for practicing safe sex.

How To forestall Getting Chlamydia

Sunday, April 17, 2011

If you know for a fact that your partner is infected with Chlamydia, you should avoid any sexual palpate with him or her until you are sure that they have received the permissible curative treatment and are free of the disease. In most cases sexual partners with be re-infected because the partner was not treated for the disease. Use a condom. It is all the time advisable to use a condom if you know that you are going to be sexually active, especially if you are a young adult between the ages of eighteen to twenty five, because statistics show that it is most likely young adults between these ages who are most likely to ageement this disease.

Avoid having sexual relations with more that one partner in any given period, it is best if you have one long term relationship rather than have manifold sexual partners. This not only leads to the possibility of you contracting Chlamydia, but you may also be exposing yourself to other sexually transmitted diseases and it is a very unhealthy lifestyle. You should not have sexual intercourse with strangers you have just met, no "one night stands" with someone you might meet at a party. This sort of life style is considered sexually risky and should not be entertained at any cost.

Research On Hiv

Because Chlamydia is transmitted straight through vaginal and anal sex and sometimes straight through oral sex or hand to eye contact, although this is very rare, you should if possible all the time wash your hands completely after using the washroom especially in communal places and shaking hands with strangers. It is a good idea to have some of those germ-free wipes handy in the event you are not everywhere near a wash room. Try not to touch your eyes after shaking hands, especially with strangers, because you do not know if the other person's hands are clean, or whether they have just visited the washroom, and did not wash their hands.

The main risk factors of contracting Chlamydia are in citizen who have manifold sex partners and whose partners have manifold sex partners, citizen who do not use condoms while oral or vaginal sexual intercourse or citizen with a long history of sexual transmitted diseases. Also women who use birth control pills run a higher risk of contracting Chlamydia, but they are less likely to design Pid. Statistics show that citizen under the age of twenty-five run the highest risk of contracting this disease, so citizen of this age should be extra faithful in their sexual activities and all the time use a condom; it is the safest sex possible. Personal hygiene can play an important role in the stoppage of this disease.

Herbal Supplement For Hiv - Aids Is victorious In Clinical Trial

Saturday, April 16, 2011

A recently terminated double-blind placebo controlled trial of the herbal supplement Sutherlandia Opc has confirmed what thousands of users already knew - Sutherlandia Opc is 100% effective in reversing Hiv symptoms.

In the description "Success Against Cancer and Hiv in South Africa" I reported how the Sutherlandia Opc supplement from South Africa designed by South African Hiv and cancer crusader and researcher Marc Swanepoel had been virtually 100% flourishing in stabilizing and reversing Hiv symptoms and over 90% flourishing against a broad range of cancers.

Research On Hiv

As a succeed of this success with some hundred people over the past almost four years, early this year Mr. Swanepoel devised and helped show the way a small scale clinical trial to portion the effectiveness of his supplement ingredients - the coarse oleander plant, Nerium Oleander, and the "South Africa Cancer Bush" Sutherlandia Frutescens - against Hiv at a well known Johannesburg Aids clinic.

The clinical trial has just terminated with results as impressive as the former reports: All of the Hiv patients improved significantly whereas all of the placebo group continued to decline.

In the trail, a double blind, placebo controlled study, the 20 participants were patients attending the Aids clinic and they were not on any extra diets. The herbal supplement mix was given to half of the patients in a commercially available soy/milk product which had added vitamins added. The patients receiving the placebo got only the soy/milk and vitamins without the herbal mix. None of the patients knew what they were getting. Throughout the trial, patients in both groups had blood tests performed by registered pathology labs to portion blood levels of Cd4.

From Mr. Swanepoel's Summary:

Results and Findings

Three of the individuals in the placebo group withdrew as a succeed of continuous deterioration of their condition. In all three cases this happened within the first 30 days of beginning on the placebo. They were given the option of taking anti-retrovirals or the real herbal aggregate without participating in the rest of the study. Two chose to take anti-retrovirals while the third one decided to take the real mixture. From the Tables and Graphs it can be seen that the group that had received the Herbal aggregate had an midpoint Cd4 count growth of 135 while the placebo group had an midpoint Cd4 count decrease of 87.

The following categorical statement can thus be made: An herbal aggregate of Sutherlandia Frutescens and Oleander Nerium is effective in expanding the Cd4 counts of Hiv-positive individuals with first Cd4 counts of less than 400 in a meaningful way over a 60-day period.

It is also essential that the liver enzymes, which are indicators of potential liver damage when they keep on going higher, were lowered or stable in all the participants who received the herbal mixture. Apart from a minute bit of first diarrhea, there were also no adverse events in the group which received the herbal mixture. On the other hand, three participants in the placebo group withdrew from the study due to deterioration of their condition. Two of them opted to go onto anti-retrovirals while the third chose to go onto the herbal mixture.

The individual with the bottom growth in Cd4 count in the group which received the herbal aggregate had a qualified recovery. When he started on the study, he was lucky sufficient to draw the herbal mixture. At the time he was on crutches and could hardly walk. He was suffering from tuberculosis and he had sores on his feet and all over his body. Within two to three weeks he started enhancing and by the end of the 60 day period, he was up and about with no clinical signs of Aids. His tuberculosis has improved dramatically and his correction was followed after the 60-day period. His Cd4 count has improved continuously and he is very optimistic that he has had a complete recovery.

Summary

The data indicates clearly that the herbal aggregate that was used in the study resulted in a dramatic correction of the participating Aids patients who received it. While the placebo group continued to deteriorate, the Cd4 counts of the group receiving the aggregate increased and their liver enzymes stabilized. The Null Hypothesis was thus proved incorrect and the study Hypothesis was shown to be true. The study showed that an herbal aggregate consisting of Sutherlandia Frutescens and Nerium Oleander is effective in expanding the Cd4 counts of Hiv-positive individuals who have a Cd4 count below 400 and who are showing clinical symptoms of Aids. It also showed that this correction came about without causing any liver damage and that liver enzymes of participating individuals improved or stabilized while the study period.

The Origin of Hiv and the Start of Aids

Friday, April 15, 2011

Today all of us are aware of the terms Hiv and Aids. The disease has killed millions of population worldwide and it is estimated that 40 million population are Hiv infected. We were unaware of the Hiv and Aids till early 1980. Nobody knows from where the virus came. It is all assumptions that scientists and researchers can make. Researchers have their view on the origin of Hiv and start of Aids. But how exactly one can state cannot be said. There are many theories about the origin of the Hiv virus but none of them have been proved.

No article of Hiv virus exists in history and it has been said that it started in central Africa and from there it started spreading gradually and slowly.

Research On Hiv

Hiv was identified in 1983.Earlier the researchers found that chimps acquired the disease from eating one of their beloved preys: monkeys.

"Chimps are 98 percent genetically the same as humans, and they do not get sick from Hiv. This is an especially important clue for developing an Hiv vaccine", the researchers said. "Understanding what prevents chimps from getting sick would help scientists duplicate resistance to Aids symptoms in humans."

Researchers say, "Chimps likely picked up viruses from both types of monkeys, and eventually a hybrid formed". The researchers said, "That probably happened tens of thousands of years ago, which may have given chimps an occasion to evolve resistance to an Aids-like disease."

Some researchers say that virus related to Hiv is found in monkeys in Africa. Many scientists believe that the first humans got the Hiv virus from monkeys by eating them as food or being scratched or bitten by them. It is inherent that while establishment of the food or butchering the meat the infected blood could have entered the human body straight through a cut.

A Canadian flight attendant, nicknamed "patient zero" dies of Aids as he had sexual connection with some of the first victims of Aids. It is believed that he is responsible for introducing the virus into the normal population. By 1984 there are almost 8000 confirmed cases in the Us, with 3700 confirmed deaths.

It is also said that the Aids virus was first discovered by Robert at the National Cancer manufacture in April 1984.
The two 'co-discoverers' of Hiv continue to disagree about the origin of Hiv and the birthplace of Aids till date.

In the middle 1980s the Human Virus (Hiv) was identified by French and American scientists as virus that leads to Aids.

During Mid - late 1990s there was considerable growth in Hiv in drug users due to injection of drug, Aboriginal peoples, women, and street-involved youth.

Today, after so much of explore and studies about the origin of Hiv and start of Aids the main goal of the scientists is to sacrifice and eradicate the Hiv virus that causes the incurable Aids.

Research On Hiv

Are you are diagnosing yourself by talking about your symptoms on some forums and deciding about what disease you may have? This carries very big risk. Though common symptoms may be listed for diseases, only the trained eyes of a doctor can recognize the disease. Further tests may be needed to confirm the disease. This should not be avoided. Surprisingly when I visit forums, I find lot many population request if they have an Std and if yes, which? Please note that determination cannot be done in this way. It is dangerous.

If you are buying medicine from the Internet are you taking care of the following?

1. If the medicine has been beloved for medicine of your disease by a Govt. Agency?

2. If the side effects of the medicine are listed?

3. How about contraindications and interactions with other medicines?

4. Has any blind trial been conducted about the efficacy of the medicine you are buying?

5. How trustworthy is the seller? Can you have faith in what is written on the website?

I would propose that Internet should only be used to enhance knowledge about diseases. It is hazardous if determination is done on forums or by reading about symptoms. It is also not safe to buy medicines on the Internet without your doctor's advice. If at all you feel that some medicine may be of help to you and is ready cheap, you would be safer consulting your doctor about that.
